DIGITAL DEFENCE ECOSYSTEM WILL BE LAUNCHED AT SECD-DAY
Digital Defence Ecosystem, DDE, will be launched officially at the SecD-Day 2023 conference and exhibition on 8th – 9thFebruary 2023. The event will be held at Tapahtumakeskus Koskenranta in Helsinki. The theme of the event is Defence Market in the New Era.
DDE is an industry-driven ecosystem for Finnish technology providers, enhancing its members' capabilities and competencies, boosting their business growth in global defence and security markets, and improving the use of fast-developing civil and dual-use technologies in defence and security solutions. DDE was established in August 2022, and it is one of the Business Finland Growth Engines.
Emerging and Disruptive Technologies create new opportunities for defence and security industry. Maximising their full potential demands collaboration and co-operation between diverse networks and experts. DDE is a unique combination of established defence industries and the state-of-art digital technology innovators. Our combined expertise ranges from sensors to AI, and from hand-held devices to complex defence systems. DDE will provide agile development of dual-use solutions for emerging defence and security challenges.

SecD-Day is a conference and exhibition organized by the Association of Finnish Defence and Aerospace. The event promotes Finland's comprehensive security by increasing knowledge of current topics, products, services, and operators/providers, and by increasing interaction between different operators/providers. The event is an excellent opportunity to meet Finnish companies within defence, aerospace, and security, as well as prospective Finnish authorities. The conference program consists of high-level speeches and presentations from Finnish and international government and business representatives as well as from international organisation operators.
